As a Researcher Networks Manager, you will be part of the Discovery Research directorate, the largest funding area within Wellcome. This role is crucial for strengthening research relationships, community engagement, and innovation. You will lead the development and delivery of our engagement strategy, ensuring it is inclusive, dynamic, and aligned with our strategic goals. This includes overseeing a programme of engagement activities, refining approaches, and developing partnerships with funders, partner organisations, and the research community.
We are looking for candidates with substantial experience in academic research and funding activities, both in the UK and internationally. You should be skilled in developing engagement initiatives and have a deep understanding of the research ecosystem. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively across complex stakeholder groups.
