Role Summary

  • Acquire mid-market homecare providers to expand Birdie's client base.
  • Engage with executives and operational staff to understand their needs and demonstrate Birdie's value.
  • Manage the mid-market sales process from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with the SDR, Customer Success teams, and sales & marketing leadership to refine the go-to-market strategy.
  • Win new business and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales journey.

Role Requirements

  • Proven B2B sales track record is required.
  • Prior experience with SaaS platforms is desirable.
  • Background in social care or health is a plus but not essential.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a focus on active listening and clear, simple dialogue.
  • A commitment to self-improvement and professional development.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to set and follow effective processes.
  • Resilient and driven, with a passion for achieving long-term goals.

The role: As a Mid-market Sales Executive at birdie, you will drive our acquisition of mid-market homecare providers. You'll engage with both executives and operational staff to understand their challenges, assess our fit to support them, and forge new partnerships. You'll own our mid-market sales process, and work with our SDR team, Customer Success team, and sales & marketing leadership to evolve our go-to-market strategy to drive our acquisition as quickly as possible. You'll win new business and delight our customers at every step.

Job requirements: Have an outstanding B2B sales track record (required); SaaS experience (desired); Have social care or health experience (desired but not required); An excellent communicator, demonstrating active listening and strong discovery, as well as clarity and simplicity in your own communication; Committed to self-development; Organised, and able to set and follow processes to prioritise effectively; Full of sales grit, with the passion and perseverance to achieve your long-term goals; Committed to going above and beyond for your customers; Comfortable with an ambiguous, changing, energetic, start-up working environment; Someone who is inspired by, and seeks to embody Birdie's principles.
