Role Summary:

Role Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or related field.
- 5+ years in IT with leadership experience.
- Expertise in IT strategy, planning, and execution.
- Proven ability to implement and manage IT systems and infrastructure.
- Skilled in managing IT projects, teams, and budgets.
- Familiar with project management methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of Prince 2 and/or Waterfall model.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Background in facility, office, and contract management.
- Fluency in English; working proficiency in Dutch.

Rewilding Europe is stepping up its operations and has developed an exciting new strategy and set ambitious goals for 2030. We are looking for a Lead IT & Operations to strengthen our Central Team.
The Role: The Lead IT & Operations oversees the planning, implementation, and management of the organisation's IT systems and infrastructure and ensures a productive and efficient working environment. The position is both strategic and operational, including support and advice to the Central Team and the teams in the rewilding landscapes (separate legal entities). The key focus is improving and professionalising IT and data management following recommendations from a report by Ernst & Young. This involves leading various IT projects starting with the improvement of Rewilding Europe's Microsoft 365 environment. The operations part of the role involves overseeing facility, office and contract management and updating and maintaining Rewilding Europe's operations manual.
Job Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; • At least 5 years’ experience in IT roles with progressive responsibility and leadership experience; • Experience in IT strategy development, planning, and execution; • Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing IT systems, infrastructure, and solutions; • Demonstrated experience in managing IT projects, teams, and budgets; • Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and best practices; • Experience in applying Prince 2 and/or the Waterfall model; • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365; • Experience in facility, office and contract management is a pre; • Full professional proficiency in English and professional working proficiency in Dutch is required.
