At a pivotal growth point, Fresh Life seeks a strategic Fundraising and Partnerships Manager to secure the resources crucial for expanding our impact.

  • Lead fundraising initiatives to support organizational strategy.
  • Forge strategic partnerships with various entities for scaling sanitation services.
  • Manage organizational initiatives involving Results-Based Financing, climate financing, and Public-Private partnerships.
  • Master's Degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Over 7 years of experience in social enterprise with a proven track record in partnerships and managing significant grants.

Fresh Life is an award-winning social venture based in Nairobi, Kenya. We partner with cities to provide safe, sustainable sanitation services to residents living in urban informal settlements of Nairobi, Kisumu and Eldoret using end-to-end non-sewered sanitation solutions.

The Fundraising and Partnerships Manager joins us at a critical juncture. Our growth in the next 5 years will hinge on our ability to mobilize resources and build strategic partnerships with bi-laterals, INGOs, multilaterals, and governments for the scaling of our safe sanitation services to citizens everywhere. The Fundraising and Partnerships Manager will be responsible for raising institutional and philanthropic funds to achieve our strategy, as well as implementing organizational-level initiatives for Results-Based Financing (RBF), climate financing, and Public-Private partnerships (PPP) with the government.

Job requirements include a Master's Degree in International Development, Economics, Project Management, or equivalent preferred. 7+ years of work experience in a social enterprise with a proven track record in building partnerships and raising and managing grants >$5 million/ year. Passion for the Cause: A genuine passion for Fresh Life’s mission and effectively conveying its importance to potential donors and partners. Project Management: Effective organization and management skills are crucial for planning, executing, and leveraging strategic fundraising opportunities and campaigns. Highly organized and able to follow through and prioritize tasks. Impeccable integrity and ethics. An effective communicator at all levels in the organization, with strong oral and written skills and a willingness to share information, required fluency in English.
