Organisation summary: Flo is a pioneering digital platform focused on women's health and well-being, engaging with thought leaders and leveraging partnerships with prestigious institutions like Stanford and Johns Hopkins to ensure medical accuracy and credibility. This role offers the chance to contribute to a meaningful project that supports women through their fertility and pregnancy journeys, utilizing expert-approved content and a compassionate approach.

  • Role Summary:
    • Provide educational content and support to women on their conception and pregnancy paths.
    • Work part-time, up to 20 hours a week, with flexible scheduling that may include weekends.
    • Engage with users primarily via the app, delivering pre-created content and managing group chats and live sessions.
    • Contribute to the creation of pre-recorded content and facilitate group discussions.
    • Use insights from user interactions to enhance the effectiveness of the program.
  • Role Requirements:
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in facilitating online interactions, with a preference for those related to health or conception.
    • High empathy and emotional intelligence.
    • Understanding of natural and assisted conception processes.
    • Analytical skills to understand user needs and behaviors.
    • Experience with content creation, health coaching, or user research is a plus.
  • Application Process Details:
    • Ensure engagement and satisfaction through effective content delivery and group management.
    • Answer user questions with support from medical experts.
    • Collect and provide feedback on user experience surveys.

Medical and Scientific credibility is the foundation. It’s the core of who and what Flo is.

As a group, these teams engage thought leaders and KOLs (120+ and counting!), establish research partnerships (Stanford University, Johns Hopkins University, Northwestern University, and others), help Developers design our intuitive AI tools, check our Medical Accuracy, and drive medical credibility across the whole platform.

This part-time, freelance contract role will support women who are either going through or considering their trying-to-conceive and pregnancy journeys. It will provide them with pre-created educational content and empathetic, supportive messages, which they need to make sure they’re getting vital answers as they make one of the biggest changes in their lives.

It’s a pilot project providing medical expert-approved content plans for users preparing to have children, and as such, it offers a rewarding opportunity to give true impact on user’s lives, as well as the fun of learning, iteration, and adjustment to maximise the value of the programme.

With that in mind, we’re looking for someone who can proactively read into comments, questions, and feedback to find the underlying ‘why’ in what works and what doesn’t.

Please note: the time requirement is up to 20 hours per week, split over at least 5 days, potentially including a weekend day with flexibility of hours. There is potential for ad hoc overtime. This is a non-medical role and would not include providing individual medical advice. Any meetings or live sessions will be planned in EST. Current work is predominantly via the app so a smartphone supporting either iOS or Android operating system will be required.

Contract length: 6 months with potential to extend
