What will you be doing?
The Lead Project Co-ordinator will work with the new innovations team to research, design and support delivery of innovation projects in mutual leadership with service users. Main responsibilities:
Help define project scope, goals and deliverables Establishing communication and project management systems Effectively network and liaise with Stakeholders and appropriate agencies and in particular organisations dedicated to serving the needs of the beneficiaries of the relevant project/s, and to identify potential service users through fostering of good working relationships Support the team with delivery of efficient administrative systems Planning, scheduling and monitoring project process, and creating project reports Create and improve processes and practices Provide ongoing support to service users, on a one-to-one basis, if necessary, whilst maintaining an awareness of safeguarding policies, procedures, and protocols Ability to professionally represent the organisation, attend meetings and training, whilst being capable of working on own initiative delivering activities suited to the needs of the service users
What are we looking for?
Knowledge: Demonstrate an understanding of social issues and their implications for service-users and the issues involved in working with vulnerable people. Experience: Project work (Desirable) Excellent Communication Skills: Verbal and written and effectively communicating new ideas, persuading stakeholders of their value and empowering people to take action. Ability to research, analyse and interpret complex information. Creative Thinking: The ability to think outside the box and generate novel and useful ideas. Problem-Solving Skills: Proficiency in identifying problems, analysing them, and finding effective solutions. Excellent ICT skills: MS Office inc. Teams/Zoom Collaboration and Teamwork: Working effectively with others, both within and outside the organisation, to develop and implement innovative ideas.
