Volunteer Head of Volunteer Management

What will you be doing?

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head of Volunteer Management to volunteer their expertise in overseeing and enhancing our volunteer programme. Your role will be crucial in recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers to effectively contribute to our mission. What are we looking for?

Your Role:

Develop and implement a comprehensive volunteer management strategy. Recruit, train, and support volunteers to ensure they are effective and engaged. Create and maintain volunteer policies, procedures, and best practices. Coordinate volunteer activities and ensure alignment with organisational goals. Monitor and evaluate the performance and impact of the volunteer programme. Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all volunteers. Collaborate with staff and volunteers to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.

What We’re Looking For:

Extensive experience in volunteer management, preferably within the non-profit sector. Strong leadership and organisational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to develop and implement effective volunteer policies and procedures. Experience in recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers. A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving. A passion for social justice and making a positive impact.
