Role Summary:

  • Coordinate activities and operations of the Wales Office.
  • Facilitate team communication and collaboration.
  • Engage in project planning and report writing for funders.
  • Support the preparation of funding applications.
  • Provide secretariat support to the Senedd’s Cross-Party Group on Suicide Prevention.
  • Oversee business planning and administration tasks, including project management and budgeting.

Samaritans Cymru is an exciting organisation dedicated to ensuring fewer people die by suicide. We are currently delivering our strategic delivery plan and are looking for a Wales Team Coordinator to join our team in Cardiff.

The role As the Wales Team Coordinator, you will provide vital support by coordinating and supporting the activities and operations of the Wales Office. Your responsibilities will include planning, ensuring effective communication and collaboration within the team, project planning, writing reports for funders, working on funding applications, and providing secretariat support to the Senedd’s Cross-Party Group on Suicide Prevention. You will also be responsible for business planning and administration, including project management and budgeting. This role provides direct influence over the realisation of core strategic objectives, as well as the smooth functioning of day-to-day business operations.
