  • Lead the delivery and development of CEI projects in collaboration with government and community services.
  • Develop evidence-informed practice frameworks and support implementation strategies.
  • Contribute to research, project management, presentations, and publications.
  • Support the design and development of practice resources and provide implementation support for evidence-informed programs.
  • Engage in CEI’s thought leadership in implementation science.
  • 3+ years of experience in human services or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing evidence-informed practices and programs.
  • Strong interpersonal, and exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver projects with high-quality outcomes within tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with implementation science, and monitoring and evaluation of interventions (desirable).
  • Knowledge of child maltreatment, parenting, family violence, or related fields (desirable).

CEI’s Evidence to Practice team focuses on improving outcomes for children and families across Australia. We ensure that families have access to evidence-informed programs and services that meet their needs. We adapt these programs and services for context and ‘fit’ with local service delivery models. We also ensure that these programs and services are implemented as intended to achieve improved outcomes for families.

As an Advisor, you will support and lead the delivery of a portfolio of CEI projects with government and community services. You will lead the development of evidence-informed practice frameworks and support efforts to effectively implement interventions through a range of evidence-based strategies. You will also contribute to project management, research, presentations and publications as required.

Key areas of responsibility include supporting the design and development of evidence-informed practice resources, providing implementation support for evidence-informed programs, practices and interventions, contributing to CEI’s thought leadership and knowledge exchange in implementation science and related topics, and project management and delivery.

Essential skills and experience include 3+ years of experience in a relevant content area, experience in the design of evidence-informed practices, programs, interventions or policies in human services, excellent interpersonal skills, high-level written and oral communication skills, and the ability to carry out project work and deliver high-quality outcomes within tight time-frames.

Desirable attributes include familiarity with the principles and practices of implementation science, experience in monitoring and evaluation for programs, practices and interventions, and knowledge of empirical research and current issues relating to child maltreatment, parenting, family violence and/or related fields.
