What will you be doing?
We are a young charity approaching our 1st year anniversary and we are looking for someone with Xero knowledge and attention to detail to join our small team. To do the bookkeeping and ensure that our bank, Xero and our CRM are reconciled. This should only take an hour or so a week if that at this stage but as we get bigger this may increase over time.
What are we looking for?
3 years plus bookkeeping skills preferably with Xero. Attention to detail. Self-motivation Good communication skills - to communicate with CEO and within the team. While we all work remote we try to communicate to still feel part of a team but again apart from communication with our CEO how involved you get with the rest of the team is up to you.
What difference will you make?
You will be the first finance person to join our small team and your contribution will make a massive impact. As well as providing peace of mind that the finances are all recorded correctly. You will helping more people benefit from our courses by freeing up our Founder and CEOs time to deliver our much needed courses to more people with mental health problems. As the team is small and we are young this really gives you the opportunity to make the role your own should you want to do more than just the data entry and reconciliation, but that's completely optional. Your Xero knowledge and your bookkeeping skills are what we ultimately need. We are a young charity with big aims, there are approximately 6,000 people in Devon that aren't progressing with talk-based services. They need an alternative and we need to grow to meet this demand.
