What will you be doing?

  The Role  We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced IT professional to join our Board of Trustees.  The role holder will provide strategic oversight and advise on our digital transformation programme and provide constructive challenge to our Senior Leadership Team and IT company.   Key Responsibilities  LinkAble has refreshed its Mission, Vision and Values and created a 3 year Strategic Plan that focusses on organisational growth and development.   Key to our future sustainability is to improve the efficiency of our systems and processes.

Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to support the implementation of LinkAble's 3-year Strategic Plan, focusing on organisational growth and development. Provide strategic guidance and oversight on IT infrastructure and digital transformation initiatives. Evaluate and advise on the integration of various systems, including CRM, HR, and financial systems, to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Ensure the security and GDPR compliance of digital systems, including the migration to cloud-based solutions. Participate in Trustee meetings, Finance Committee sessions, and other relevant committees to contribute your expertise.

 You will provide expertise and experience from similar transformation projects to be able to question and discuss alternatives with our  IT support so the Board can be confident of the approach and make informed decisions. Evening Trustee meetings are held about every 6 weeks (via Teams). Comprehensive Induction and training is provided, as is support from an experienced and knowledgeable trustee and staff team. The IT trustee will participate in our Finance Committee and other relevant Committees in addition to the Board Meetings. The time commitment is roughly 1-2 days a month.
