Role Summary

Role Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related field with proven management experience.
- A Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Logistics Management, or a similar field is mandatory.

One Acre Fund, founded in 2006, is dedicated to equipping 5.5 million smallholder farmers across nine countries in Africa to enhance farm productivity. We provide high-quality farm supplies, tree seedlings, accessible credit, modern agronomic training, and a variety of other agricultural services. Our Rwanda program, established in 2007, is our largest and operates under the local brand Tubura. We have a significant presence with over 3,000 staff across all four provinces of Rwanda and in Kigali, serving more than 2.8 million farmers in 2024. We collaborate closely with the government to bolster national food security efforts and support agri-SMEs by providing a market for high-impact crops like coffee, avocado, and chili.
The role: As a Procurement Associate, you will lead our procurement operations in Rwanda. Your responsibilities will include leading and developing a high-performing procurement team, ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement execution, driving cost savings and strategic procurement initiatives, and strengthening procurement processes, controls, and compliance.
Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of work experience in a related field, with required people management experience and desirable project management experience. A Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Logistics Management, or a related field is necessary.
