Role Summary
- Work as a Programme Manager in the Climate and Health programme.
- Coordinate and manage strategic initiatives primarily within the Climate & Health portfolio.
- Collaborate with programme leads for planning and achieving research goals.
- Ensure the effective integration of these programmes within the overall portfolio.
- Promote teamwork and manage programme-level milestones.

The role: As a Programme Manager in our Strategy team, you will be working with Wellcome’s Climate and Health programme. Reporting to the Head of Strategy Integration, Climate & Health, you will enhance programme and project management quality and capability at Wellcome while supporting the delivery of strategic initiatives across the organisation, primarily focusing on the Climate & Health portfolio. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with programme leads to develop and maintain plans to achieve influence, engagement, or research goals and outcomes. You will ensure effective integration of these programmes into the overall portfolio, promote collaboration and prioritisation within teams, and manage programme-level milestones.
Job requirements: We are looking for candidates who excel at building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, thrive on delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines, and can manage multiple tasks across different stakeholder groups. You should have comprehensive programme management experience, including managing complex programmes, coordinating competing priorities and multiple stakeholders, and engaging with an organisation’s strategy to support the development and implementation of the relevant portfolio to deliver strategic objectives.
