What will you be doing?
We need some help getting the text for our website right. Words matter, and we want our website to be a true reflection of who we are and what matters to us. First and foremost, we are humans getting alongside other humans. Professional qualifications are important (and essential for some of the work that we deliver!), but relationships are just as meaningful. Many of our staff members and trustees have lived experience of trauma, neurodivergence, and caring for children with additional needs. We want our website to be representative of us and the people we work with. We embrace diversity and are open to hearing from applicants from all backgrounds but are especially keen to add more voices from people with lived experience of trauma, neurodivergence and disability, Black, Asian and minority ethnic groups, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
What are we looking for?
We need someone who:
Has experience in copywriting Has strong writing and editing skills Ability to write with SEO and brand at front of mind using our existing voice and style Can ask key questions to enable us to clarify requirements Understands the resource constraints of a small charity and is able to work with these.
What difference will you make?
Your work will help us communicate in a real and meaningful way to the people we work with. We want to be trauma-reponsive in our written communication as well as our actions. Communicating in the right way can be the difference in someone reaching out to work with us or not.
