  • Assist the MLRO in managing and enhancing AML/CTF policies and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and advise on client relations in compliance with AML regulations.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure adherence to legal and policy standards.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in regulated banking or payment industry, specifically in finance/payments.
  • Deep understanding of payment operations and card schemes.
  • Expertise in AML compliance and familiarity with the Bank of Lithuania's regulations.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and multilingual abilities (English and Lithuanian required).
  • Legal right to work in Lithuania.

The role of Deputy MLRO at Payhawk Financial Services UAB (‘PFS UAB’) involves navigating between the applicable AML laws and regulations and evaluating adherence to AML policies and procedures. You will work closely with the MLRO in the preparation and management of the risk assessment system as well as development and implementation of AML/CTF policies and procedures. You will also support MLRO providing advice to management bodies regarding the acceptance of new clients or the continuation of business relations with existing clients.

Job requirements include at least 3 years’ experience in a regulated banking or payment industry in the finance/payments area, sound knowledge of payment operations and card schemes, strong analytical skills, attention to details, good understanding of the Bank of Lithuania's regulations and the local regulatory landscape, great communication and language skills (English and Lithuanian), and previous experience specializing in AML compliance. The candidate should be based and have the right to work in Lithuania.
