Role Summary:Lead the payment operations for an E-money Institution.Maintain precise records of daily financial transactions.Oversee settlement processes with card schemes and payment rails.Manage reconciliation of safeguarded funds and ensure compliance with safeguarding requirements.Collaborate with leadership to enhance relationships with payment providers and optimize E-money Institution setup and costs.

Role Requirements:In-depth knowledge of payment and card schemes (VISA preferred).Experience with E-money Institution reporting to regulatory bodies (e.g., FCA).Proven ability to build teams and processes from the ground up, ideally in a fast-scaling environment.Excellent communication skills in English.Eligibility to work in the UK is a must.

The role entails leading the payment operations function in an E-money Institution, keeping accurate records of daily transactions, having oversight of the settlement process with the card schemes and payment rails, managing reconciliation of safeguarded funds, and ensuring that we meet safeguarding requirements. You will also collaborate with the broader leadership team on relationships with our various payment providers to build and optimize the E-money Institution setup and costs.

Job requirements include deep knowledge of payment and card schemes (VISA ideally) as well as settlement processes, experience with leading E-money Institution reporting to relevant regulatory institutions (e.g. FCA), and a track record in building a team/teams and processes from scratch, ideally in a fast-scaling environment. Great communication and language skills (English) are also required. The candidate should be based and have the right to work in the UK.
