Achieving profitability by 2015, we've facilitated bookings worth over £260m and are now on the lookout for a skilled Dutch translator to join our team of freelancers through September 2024.
- Translate content creatively and commercially from English to Dutch.
- Ensure the Dutch content quality on Pitchup.com, including website checks and tool maintenance.
- Collaborate on localisation projects with various teams.
- Proofread and perform QA checks on translations, adhering to style guides and glossaries.
- Native Dutch speaker with strong English proficiency.
- Availability of at least 10 hours per week until the end of September 2024.
- Two years of professional translation experience.
- Exceptional writing skills and a commitment to quality.
- Experience with Transifex and Crowdin is beneficial.
- Internet-savvy with independent problem-solving skills.

We are now looking for a Dutch translator to join our team of freelance translatorsuntil October 2024.
The role will include carrying out the below tasks:
- Provide commercial and creative translations from English into Dutch
- Maintain the quality of the Dutch content on Pitchup.com including website checks and maintaining language specific tools, such as glossaries and style guides
- Assist with localisation projects in cooperation with other language teams and departments
- Proofreading and QA-checking of translations ensuring style guide and glossary is followed
The candidate
We're looking for a meticulous, flexible individual, able to prioritise based on company needs while meeting tight deadlines. The successful candidate will meet the following criteria.
Essential skills and experience required for translators
- Your mother tongue is Dutch and your knowledge of English is at a strong professional level
- Available at least 10 hours per week until end of September 2024
- Two years' work experience in translation services
- Outstanding writing skills
- Dynamic, flexible and work attitude focused on quality
- Experience with Transifex and Crowdin is a plus
- Internet savvy
- Ability to troubleshoot independently
