Role Summary
- Investigate financial and operational discrepancies impacting farmers and clients.
- Ensure client protection principles are maintained, handling cases of underpayment, overpayment, misconduct, and inaccurate balances.
- Manage the entire investigation process for fair, prompt, and documented settlements.
Role Requirements
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- 3-5 years in investigations, audit, compliance, finance operations or risk management.
- Experience in field-based investigations and a good grasp of Client Protection Principles are preferred.

The role: As a Business Investigator & Client Protection Specialist in our Burundi program, you will be responsible for investigating financial and operational discrepancies and ensuring client protection principles are upheld. You will handle cases impacting farmers and clients, including underpayments, overpayments, incorrect balances, misconduct, or inappropriate collection practices. Your role will involve managing investigations from start to finish, ensuring fair, timely, and documented resolutions.
Job requirements: Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience in investigations, audit, compliance, finance operations, or risk management. Experience in field-based investigations and a solid understanding of Client Protection Principles are preferred.
