Job Overview

The Content & Credentials organization at Coursera is seeking a Senior Content Business Analyst to support our mission by enhancing the analysis and performance tracking of our extensive educational content. This role demands a sharp analytical mind capable of transforming data into actionable insights and strategic guidance. Partnering with finance, revenue operations, content strategy, and other cross-functional teams, you will be pivotal in analyzing course-level and portfolio-wide content performance. Your work will empower executive decision-making and contribute directly to the growth and efficiency of our educational offerings.


Responsibilities

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize advanced content analytics to answer specific business questions and drive strategic decisions, focusing on content performance and learner engagement.
  • Detailed KPI Monitoring: Implement and monitor detailed key performance indicators (KPIs) for content performance, ensuring that all metrics accurately reflect the health and effectiveness of our courses and programs in support of Company level OKRs
  • Insightful Reporting: Create new cuts of data and generate comprehensive reports that provide deep insights into content performance, tailored to executive audiences.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, content strategy, and revenue operations teams to align data insights with financial and operational strategies.
  • Generative AI Utilization: Leverage generative AI tools to enhance data analysis processes, automating, and making them more efficient and effective.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably within a tech or educational environment.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, able to clearly convey complex data in an actionable and understandable manner.
  • Experience with generative AI technologies and their application in data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A passionate advocate for education with a keen interest in learning innovation and an ability to operate in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Skillful with business intelligence tools, salesforce, spreadsheets, statistical software and SQL.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in educational technology or related fields is highly desirable.
  • Advanced degree in Business, Analytics, or a related field from a recognized institution.

Compensation

Coursera offers competitive pay and equitable compensation practices. Our job titles may span more than one career level. The targeted hiring base salary range for this role is between 90,400 to 113,00 CAD for all Canada candidates. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to prior work experiences, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, and geographical location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for variable pay, equity, and benefits.
