In Summary...

We are looking for a Head of Supply Chain to lead our supply chain operations in the UK and Europe. Reporting to our Supply Chain Director, you will need to have experience across a variety of supply chain positions ideally with experience of start-up and or D2C/subscription knowledge. 

The right person will be highly driven, dynamic, naturally entrepreneurial, organised, and a strong motivator and leader of teams.

What does the role involve?...

Leading the supply chain function
Strategic supply chain planning
Management of demand planning and updating of existing systems; forecasting, stock management and procurement
Inventory/stock optimisation to future proof for growth
Quickly and effectively solving issues that come up within the supply chain
Seeking continuous improvements and sourcing cost effective solutions for supply chain processes
Expansion and improvement of existing fulfilment and postal operations, partnerships and networks
Build and maintain good relationships with all vendors and suppliers
Working closely with the company leadership team to ensure the smooth management and delivery of both short & long term projects and strategies
Providing leadership, mentoring and guidance for the supply chain team
Cultivating a high-performance culture resulting in high employee engagement at all levels
Collaborating and partnering with the warehouse team, inclusive of fulfilment and production, to ensure optimum end to end processes

You will need/be...

A strategic and analytical mind
Proven experience in supply chain including demand planning, stock management, procurement and fulfilment
Analytical skills, ability to utilise and develop existing information systems to improve current processes
Proven experience of managing and leading a team
Commercial acumen to improve efficiency of existing and future processes
A core understanding of how supply chain enables the company to deliver against its growth ambitions and an ability to support this wherever possible, without over stretching ourselves
Project management and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail
Proficient / expert in excel

Applicants must have current work authorisation in the UK.

The role is based at our production & fulfilment centre in Paddock Wood, Kent for minimum of 4 days a week.
