Role Summary:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of SaaS applications, focusing on Google Workspace and Google Cloud technologies.
  • Collaborate with system owners to define best practices for application management.
  • Lead the selection, deployment, and management of applications across various teams.
  • Implement automations and support end-users to enhance efficiency.
  • Assist in policy/process optimization and ensure compliance with security standards.

Role Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years' experience in SaaS operations or software engineering.
  • Expertise in Google Workspace administration; certifications preferred.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Slack administration is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in process automation and knowledge of programming languages like Python, JSON.
  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in English communication.

Job Description

As a Senior IT Engineer in Application and Endpoint Management, you will be called to manage SaaS applications, work with system owners to define best practices and procedures governing the management of those applications and also manage the company's collaboration and communication suite. You will be part of a dynamic international team and will be called to participate in the selection, deployment and management of applications together with other stakeholders. 

Role  / Responsibility

  • Oversee the deployment, scaling, and maintenance of our SaaS applications across multiple environments, with a focus on Google Workspace and Google Cloud technologies.
  • Be responsible for the management of the full lifecycle of business applications.
  • Manage an array of business applications including security configuration and integrations.
  • Propose, devise and implement automations for business applications with the objective to increase efficiency of both support teams and end-users.
  • Work closely with Enterprise Architects to validate use-cases and requirements for new and existing business applications.
  • Work with other teams to support installation, update and maintenance of business applications.
  • Evaluate, deploy, troubleshoot and support business applications for end-users.
  • Establish, maintain and improve a system of records for business applications.
  • Review, maintain and optimize internal policies/processes related to enterprise applications.
  • Participates in the design configuration, problem diagnosis, maintenance, and installation of application systems.
  • Undertake application administration, custom query and report creation, end-user support, training, troubleshooting, and documenting business processes and procedures.
  • Support regular audits on business applications to ensure compliance with security and operational requirements.
  • Participates in testing and installing new software releases and application system upgrades.
  • Analyzes, monitors, and fine-tunes the application system to achieve optimum performance levels.

Qualifications

  • Holder of a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Proven technical experience in managing applications and computer systems.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SaaS operations, software engineering, or a related role.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Workspace administration is required (certification is a plus).
  • Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (certification is a plus). 
  • Hands-on experience on Slack administration is a plus. 
  • Hands-on experience in process automation, best practice approach, technology efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Knowledge of Web Services and programming languages like Python, JSON required.
  • Working knowledge of IT service, change and problem management (ITIL Foundation is a plus)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
