What will you be doing?
The Digital teams cover :
Action Network - an application controlling our rebels' data, used to send emails and bulletins to selected parts or all of the movement. The team supports the composition of compelling emails using the Action Network application to our rebels and understands data security.
Communications platforms - the Hub [holds XR group information], Mattermost [instant chat], NextCloud [document creation and storage], the Forums [longer discussions on individual topics] Developers have skills such as: C#, PHP, HTML, Go, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
GDPR & Security - cyber security, ICO processes, data protection and compliance. CRM - holds external groups and funders with whom we collaborate, based on ERPNext Applications Hosting Team - supports XRUK's platforms using Linux / Debian.
Main roles in the teams
Business analyst - to promote our services, understand our users' systems and where they need help and support. Help desk support - queries, problems and access requests System administrator Graphic design accessibility. User trainer - support rebels using the Hub and XR's dedicated communication tools, spreadsheets, documents, forms and provide general IT support. Documentation writer. Social media support. Data / systems / process architect to help develop our Digital strategy.
What are we looking for?

View the XRUK SOS here:https://organism.extinctionrebellion.uk/?id=0&tab=overview External Coordinators are the communication links between their team and the wider team it sits within, communicating the plan and work of the broader parent team to their team. Taking issues that can’t be resolved in the team to the broader parent team. Internal Coordinators ensure their team is healthy and achieving its mandate :
Project managing the team’s immediate and longer-term priorities and aligning its work with the team’s plan. Proposing roles and projects the team needs to fulfil its mandate. Filling team roles and supporting training needs. Supporting the work of team members and sub-teams, and reviewing their work regularly.
Experience Experience in managing teams is useful and preferable. However, we can mentor and train you as you learn about our projects, systems and teams.
