What will you be doing?

As a Video Content Creator and Editor, you will play a crucial role in developing compelling video content that educates, inspires, and empowers individuals to prioritize their mental health and seek support when needed. Your creativity and storytelling skills will help us connect with our audience on social media platforms and beyond. Content Development: Brainstorm, plan, and script video content that addresses various aspects of mental health, including coping strategies, self-care tips, and ways to seek help. Collaborate with the marketing and outreach teams to ensure content aligns with our organization's messaging and goals. Video Production: Film and capture high-quality video footage using cameras, smartphones, or other recording devices. Conduct interviews, record testimonials, and document stories of resilience and recovery related to mental health. Editing and Post-Production: Edit raw footage into polished video content using video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro). Enhance visuals, audio, and effects to create engaging and impactful videos that resonate with our audience. Social Media Engagement: Strategically distribute video content across social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube, to maximize reach and engagement. Monitor comments, respond to inquiries, and foster community interaction around mental health topics. Campaign Support: Contribute to the development and execution of social media campaigns and awareness initiatives focused on mental health advocacy and support. Create video assets to support campaign messaging and goals. Collaboration: Work closely with the communications team, graphic designers, and other volunteers to integrate video content into broader marketing and outreach strategies. Coordinate efforts to leverage video content across multiple channels and platforms.
