The Role Since its inception, the V&A's buildings were intended to exemplify the best of contemporary architecture and design. They are a work of art in themselves, reinforcing the Museum's mission to educate and inspire its visitors. This philosophy has endured to create the richly varied set of buildings we see today.

We are opening two new buildings in East London in 2025, YV&A has recently reopened and we continue to develop our historic estate in South Kensington. The Estate team is looking for someone with a passion for the built environment to manage the fabric of our estate – both historic and newly built. We are a friendly team and this is an opportunity for someone to join us at a critical time as we expand our culturally significant estate, review the estate strategy, carry out significant refurbishment projects and work towards our ambitious carbon net zero target of 2035.

Working in the Estates Team you will have the change to be part of big changes within the V&A family of sites as we extend to additional museums and locations over the next 3 year. You will be working on some of the pre-eminent Victorian buidling in the UK and in a high profile environment with a mix of locations, buildings and uses. Flexible working is on offer while we do also promote a positive working environment within our friendly and inclusive Estates team.
