Today, our group continues its development on a booming market and is looking for a Category Buyer in Lyon, to take charge of the purchases of categories of finished organic products.

Your role is strategic in our European group since you will be a major contributor to the growth and profitability of our business, with a direct influence on the different components of the P&L. From the implementation of the purchasing strategy of the category for which you will be responsible for all the group's subsidiaries, to the construction of the budget and the realization of annual negotiations, you will have the responsibility of recommending and delivering your annual purchase budget, negotiating annual purchasing conditions with your suppliers and setting the contractual framework, implementing development plans and monitoring their performance, implementing the purchasing strategies defined for the finished products in your portfolio, or recommending others, initiating and executing competitiveness projects (calls for tenders, value analysis, ...), engaging internal and external stakeholders at the European level, ensuring active monitoring of the market (suppliers, technology…).

You have between 3 to 5 years of minimum experience in a mature purchasing organization, with negotiation and supplier animation issues. This experience will have been acquired in the field of consumer goods. Beyond experience, we are looking for a business-oriented personality, energetic, responsible, with a capacity to contribute to the development of a product portfolio. You have a particular appetite for negotiation. Creative, you have a taste for challenge and result. Once your plans are recommended, you are eager to implement them. In a multicultural group, with a short hierarchy, you like contact and will have the opportunity to be in constant interaction with a large number of internal services. Fluent English is essential.
