What will you be doing?
The Social Media Strategist will work with the team to design and publish our digital marketing strategies and campaigns. Main responsibilities:
Lead ideation process or content creation and production. Create compelling and digitally appealing content that aligns with our visions, mission and brand, including editorial graphics, videos and infographics. Develop and deliver comprehensive digital strategies tailored to our mission and target audience. Manage and post on our social media platforms - Twitter, LinkedIn, Tik Tok, Instagram etc. Monitor, moderate and engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries. Review and analyse performance Provide strategic insights and recommendations to optimise campaign performance and drive results. Support meetings by presenting findings, discussing strategies. Support in various associated administrative tasks for the team. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously innovate and improve our digital offer.
What are we looking for?
Knowledge: Demonstrate an understanding of social problems and their implications for service-users and the issues involved in working with vulnerable people. Experience: Social media management and digital marketing on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest (Essential). Using social media to build brand awareness (Essential). Graphic design, photo editing, and publishing (Desirable) Ability to identify target audiences’ preferences and produce tailored content. Excellent Communication Skills: Verbal and written and effectively communicating new ideas, persuading stakeholders of their value and empowering people to take action. Creative Thinking: The ability to think outside the box and generate novel and useful ideas. Problem-Solving Skills: Proficiency in identifying problems, analysing them, and finding effective solutions. Excellent ICT skills: MS Office inc. Teams/Zoom Collaboration and Teamwork: Working effectively with others, both within and outside the organisation, to develop and implement innovative ideas.
