Role Summary:

Role Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the Events industry.
  • Proven track record of managing both large scale and boutique events.
  • Outstanding communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
  • A passion for youth empowerment and social impact.

Bloomsbury Football Foundation is an exciting organisation that is changing the game. We have a new 5-year game plan with the goal of providing high quality, football provision for 20,000 young people every week. We use football as a vehicle to engage over 5,000 young people a week with our programmes designed to improve lives, with an emphasis on soft skills development, improvements in physical and mental health, and improving social cohesion.

The role of Head of Bloomsbury Events is a senior role entrusted with setting up and managing a new entity focused on running themed events and campaigns for corporates. These events will range from tournaments at Premier League Stadiums, to high profile fundraising events. The role will require sourcing, planning and delivering events, which range from brand activations with Nike to tournaments for brands at venues such as Stamford Bridge and Wembley Stadium. Business development to secure new work will be integral to the success of the role.

Job requirements include a minimum of 2 years experience in the Events industry, experience organising large scale events as well as smaller ‘boutique’ events, excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, strong organisational and administrative skills, and a strong connection with supporting young people and a passion for facilitating direct social impact. The candidate must have the right to live and work in the UK as Bloomsbury Football does not sponsor visas.
