Bloomsbury Football Foundation is changing the game, and we need great people to help us on our journey!

In late 2023, Bloomsbury Football Foundation published its new 5-year game plan with the goal of providing high quality, football provision for 20,000 young people every week. A fundamental part of this game plan lies in Bloomsbury Football Communities. Bloomsbury Football Communities are full-scale community projects that place local roots at the heart of our approach.

As a Region Lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management, direction and growth of their region, with each region having 1-4 localised ‘Communities’ by 2028. This role will be off-pitch and there will be no requirement to coach.

Key Duties include managing all football provision in a region of London, scheduling and leading on a team of full-time coaches, communicating and liaising with key stakeholders such as parents, schools, facilities and organisations, and ensuring that the quality of delivery always reaches the standards of the charity.

Essential skills, experiences and knowledge include the ability to think fast and make critical decisions at a fast-growing organisation, take initiative to problem-solve, operate in a team-environment and efficiently work with the other Region Leads and Regions Manager, and high levels of proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Benefits of working for Bloomsbury include ongoing internal and external CPD, being a part of a growing organisation, opportunity to increase salary and grow your role, Central London office (Camden Market) with free gym membership, regular staff socials, potential to get free tickets to Premier League, WSL, FA Cup, League Cup, and Champions League football matches, 5 days of paid training leave per year, and cost covered for relevant training.

Application process includes applying with a CV and Cover Letter, completing a short task, first interview, and final interview.
