Bloomsbury Football Foundation is changing the game, and we need great people to help us on our journey! In late 2023, Bloomsbury Football Foundation published its new 5-year game plan with the goal of providing high quality, football provision for 20,000 young people every week.

Bloomsbury Football Foundation uses the power of football to improve the lives of children and young people in London. Established as a charity in 2018, we work to support children and young people aged 4 to 18 through the provision of football activities, enabling them to live active lifestyles, and pursue their full potential.

The Girls Super League, launched in 2021, is London’s fastest-growing grassroots girls’ league. The aim of the league is to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment, and make competitive football accessible to as many girls as possible.

The league manager will be responsible for the daily operations of the league across all three sites and the strategy for shaping the league's long-term growth. This role will be accountable for ensuring the success of the league in terms of participation, social impact, and financial sustainability.

Key Duties and Responsibilities include managing the league’s calendar of fixtures, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring correct governance of the league, line managing the full-time league coordinator and part-time league assistants, developing and executing a short and long-term growth strategy for the league, overseeing league finances, and working alongside the Fundraising and Marketing teams.

Essential skills, experience and knowledge include excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organisational skills and attention to detail, exceptional time management, confidence in leadership and decision-making, ability to take initiative to problem-solve, familiarity with budgeting and finance, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

The candidate must have the right to live and work in the UK. Bloomsbury Football does not sponsor visas.
