- Role Summary:
- Report to the Group Financial Controller within the UK team.
- Manage accounts payable, reconciliations, payment runs, and employee expenses.
- Handle month-end processes and bank reconciliations.
- Submit quarterly UK VAT and R&D submissions.
- Communicate with stakeholders for smooth payroll operations.
- Participate in ad hoc projects as needed.
- Role Requirements:
- University graduate with 0-2 years of experience, preferably in a quantitative field.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a desire to progress in finance.
- Interest in seeking ACCA/CIMA professional qualifications.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
- Open, inquisitive mindset with good time management and problem-solving skills.

THE ROLE - what the role entails We are looking for a Finance Associate for a broad ranging finance role to join our UK team, reporting into the Group Financial Controller. This is an exciting opportunity to continuously learn in a fast paced environment where you’ll have plenty of impact and visibility across the business! Responsibilities include Accounts payable function, resolving queries, reconciling supplier accounts/statements, payment runs (twice a month), employee expenses, credit card reconciliations and ad hoc key supplier payments. Month end process, including balance sheet reconciliations and daily bank recs Quarterly UK VAT submissions and Research & Development submissions Communication with a variety of key stakeholders in the business, ensuring payroll runs smoothly Ad hoc projects as and when required by the VP Finance and Group Financial Controller.
JOB REQUIREMENTS - any requirements mentioned University graduate with 0-2 years of experience (quantitative subject preferred) A strong work ethic who is driven and wants to progress within a broad finance role A keen desire to seek a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA) The ability to multitask and prioritise workload A open and inquisitive mindset Good time management, analytical and creative problem solving skills. A team player who is results driven.
