The British Museum is seeking an HR Advisor to join our HR team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a unique operating context that includes public, charitable and commercial sector exposure.

The Role: As an HR Advisor, you will play an integral role within our HR Operations team, providing a high-quality HR advisory service to managers and employees across their client group, while also supporting the development and delivery of engaging and impactful HR objectives and projects. You will provide consistent, effective and well-informed advice to managers and staff in the resolution of people management issues. Key areas of responsibility include Employee Relations, Process and procedure, People Management, Recruitment and Selection, Records and Information Management, and Training and Development.

Job Requirements: We are looking for someone exceptional to join our dedicated and dynamic team. You will have experience in an HR role and be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge and understanding of employment legislation. You will bring experience of managing or supervising others and a proven ability to plan and prioritise the work of others. You will be able to build effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and demonstrate how you have successfully influenced at all levels in your previous roles.
