  • Role Summary:
    • Ensure efficient execution of key data processes and coordinate support requests.
    • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of fundraising data.
    • Conduct data quality checks and financial reconciliations.
    • Handle financial processes such as Direct Debit and Gift Aid claims.
  • Role Requirements:
    • Experience with relational database data management.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency.
    • Understanding of Direct Debit Scheme and Gift Aid.
    • Desirable: experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, helpdesk applications, Bacs submissions, HMRC Gift Aid regulations, SQL and SSMS knowledge.

The Role: Join WaterAid as a Data Operations Officer to change normal for millions of people so they can unlock their potential, break free from poverty and change their lives for good. As our positive and proactive Data Operations Officer you will play a crucial role in ensuring that key processes are efficiently executed and help to coordinate incoming support requests to the team. You will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of WaterAid's fundraising data, carrying out data quality checks and financial reconciliation. You'll also be responsible for carrying out key financial processes from the database, such as Direct Debit and Gift Aid claims.

Job Requirements: Experience of working with data in a relational database, great verbal and written communication skills, excellent IT skills, with advanced experience of using Microsoft Excel and Word, a solid understanding of the Direct Debit Scheme and Gift Aid, good understanding of fundraising products. Although not essential, we also prefer you to have: Experience of using Microsoft Dynamics 365, experience of using a helpdesk application, with an ability to use initiative to prioritise effectively and provide support to colleagues, experience of submitting Direct Debits to Bacs, knowledge of HMRC Gift Aid regulations, knowledge of SQL, SSMS and their application.
