What will you be doing?

We are looking for a Chair to lead the Board of Trustees in a Scout Group on the outskirts of Totton in Southampton, which has its own purpose built Headquarters. The Chair will work closely with the Group Scout Leader (Group Lead Volunteer) to grow the group to its full potential, reaching out to the local community to grow youth membership and identify potential recruitment of adult volunteers to support the sections.  The role of the Chair is not restricted to the Role Description, this is a community Group and the Chair would be welcome at all events and to help with any additional activities they would like to do.
