  • Role Summary
    • Partner with managers to identify role requirements and craft job ads for internal and external posting.
    • Engage in the full recruitment cycle, including candidate outreach, interview coordination, conducting interviews, and extending job offers.
    • Maintain budget discipline for headcount and salary allocations.
    • Develop employer branding strategies specific to EcoVadis Mauritius.
    • Perform background checks and verify candidate eligibility.
    • Ensure high-quality data management within our applicant tracking system.
    • Guide new hires through a seamless onboarding process, meeting time-to-hire KPIs.
    • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience by providing prompt feedback and communication.
  • Role Requirements
    • A degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
    • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Fluent in English with strong communication and influencing skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, delegate, and meet deadlines.
    • Committed to employee satisfaction and capable of handling crisis situations.

Job Description

Our Human Resources and Communication department strategically recruits, develops and supports our people to ensure EcoVadis has essential skills and talent, communicating key messaging to maintain alignment, which together enable improvement in companies’ sustainable business practices at a global scale.

As a Talent Acquisition Associate in our team, you will help to source and select the best diverse talent in sustainability and technology industries. You you will help to deliver an awesome candidate experience by supporting our global team of recruitment experts to facilitate the movement of applicants through the hiring process.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for open positions internally and externally before proceeding with the job adverts.
  • Participate in the recruitment process, post job ads (internal and external), collect CV, contact candidates, planning and carrying out tests,  lead recruitment interviews, assist managers in the selection, and prepare offer letters.
  • Ensure that we remain within budgeted  headcount and budget salary figure
  • Devise  employer branding strategy for Ecovadis Mauritius
  • Participate in the recruitment process by carrying out interviews, assisting in preparing offers  and preparing offers
  • Conducting background checks and employee eligibility verification.
  • Scheduling interviews across multiple departments
  • Overseeing data quality in our applicant tracking system
  • Tracking the success of our employee referral program
  • Headhunt potential candidates on linkedin for some complex positions as and when required
  • Provide input on the recruitment process and ensure that the recruitment process is being followed  and well documented
  • Ensure that data in SmartRecruiters is accurate, up to date, clean and tallies with the recruitment dashboard
  • Onboard New joiner on time and meet the KPI (time to hire) successfully
  • Ensures excellent candidate experience throughout their application journey, providing immediate feedback regarding inquiries and the status of their application (selected /unselected candidates).

Qualifications

  • A degree in Human Resources Management or related fields
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position and ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Communicate clearly and is able to influence and convince others
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Has a good interaction with internal clients and a good working relationship. Understands them and meets their expectations
  • Ensure the satisfaction and well-being of the employees and the positive outcomes of the requests
  • Is creative and knows how to innovate by finding new and effective solutions
  • Allow employees to better embrace changes
  • Demonstrate cooperation and teamwork
  • Ability to act ethically and integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Is able to deal with crisis situations and emotions
