    • 1-3 years of experience in Internal Communication, HR, Marketing, Public Relations, or Event Management.
    • International experience in dynamic, fast-growing, or tech environments is essential.
    • A relevant degree in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, HR, Business, or related experience.

Job Description

As an Internal Communication Associate, you will be part of the global HR and Communication team, reporting to the Internal Communication Senior Manager. Your main responsibilities will be to support our internal communications efforts in Mauritius and to provide our teams with relevant information about company direction, projects, and operational changes. The internal communications team is committed to informing and connecting our teams through purposeful communication and your role will be critical in ensuring our success. 

What will this role look like?

  • Support the local Human Resources and Office Management teams with communicating on initiatives, policies, and events

  • Help support the coordination of remote or on-site events and meetings including content planning, scheduling, and hosting

  • Work with key stakeholders to research, write, edit, and proofread content

  • Help administrate and manage communication channels and platforms

  • Support strategic internal communication initiatives and help with the implementation of our internal communication strategy

  • Assist management with tactical communication tasks and cascading process

  • Collaborate with cross-department teams to formalize and ensure compliance with communication best practices

  • Support the employer branding team to:

    •  improve local branding and organize employer branding campaigns in Mauritius

    • improve social media communication in Mauritius

  • Share new ideas, campaigns, and activities to foster internal socialization and information sharing

What skills and competencies are required?

  • Fluent in English, French, and Mauritian Creole

  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal presentation skills

  • Great interpersonal skills and ease with intercultural communication

  • Some creative and visual communication skills and a good eye for detail - you should be at ease creating impactful slide decks and following brand guidelines 

  • Technically literate with some experience coordinating digital channels

  • Exceptional time management, organizational, and prioritization skills - proactivity and agility to adapt to demands and meet deadlines

Qualifications

  • Some experience in a similar role or related field such as Internal Communication, HR, Marketing, Public Relations, or Event Management (1-3 years of experience would be ideal)

  • Previous international exposure in a dynamic environment is a must, ideally in a fast-growing or tech company

  • Relevant degree in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, HR, Business, or equivalent experience

    Starting date: ASAP

    Position: Permanent after successful 6 months probation
