- Role Summary:
- Oversee the operation of educational trips in North Asia, specifically Japan and South Korea.
- Manage the Operations team based in Ho Chi Minh City.
- Collaborate with in-country staff to ensure trip excellence.
- Handle logistics, including accommodations, transportation, and activities across Asia.
- Ensure all trips adhere to our rigorous safety management systems.
- Role Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ experience in operating school tours.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage teams and handle emergencies effectively.
- Excellent communication with teams and regional partners.
- Proficiency in Japanese or Korean and destination knowledge is advantageous.

We operate educational trips across the globe, focusing on offering bespoke itineraries that deliver prescribed learning outcomes and unique, engaging activities to inspire the next generation of global citizens.
The role we are recruiting for is an Operations Manager for North Asia. In this role, you will have responsibility for operating our school trips in North Asia – specifically Japan and South Korea. You will manage our growing Operations team in Ho Chi Minh City and work alongside our in-country staff across the region. Our tour portfolio spans across Asia, so one day you might be booking a train in Kyoto, and the next be talking to our local supplier in Busan.
Job requirements include full responsibility for operating our school trips in Japan and South Korea, overseeing a growing team of Officers and Senior Officers, ensuring all trips run according to our safety management systems, and managing safety and emergencies in the region. You will also be responsible for communicating with our own teams and partners across the region, ensuring all Adventure Leaders, hotels, tickets and component activities have been arranged by the team, and managing tour budgets across the region.
We are looking for a new member who is organized, ambitious, hungry to learn, a reliable manager, a problem solver, and has at least 2 years’ experience operating school tours. Knowledge of Japan or South Korean language and destination knowledge of Japan or South Korea would be a plus.
