Role Summary:-
- Lead field operations strategy and execution in Central Uganda.
- Promote the adoption of trees in the region.
- Oversee marketing access activities for key crops.

Role Requirements: -
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 4+ years of experience in project management, leadership, and people management.
- Proficiency in project management, stakeholder management, and collaboration.

One Acre Fund, founded in 2006, equips 5.5 million smallholder farmers to enhance farm productivity across nine countries in Africa, home to two-thirds of the continent's farmers. We provide high-quality farm supplies, tree seedlings, accessible credit, modern agronomic training, and a variety of other agricultural services. Our model typically boosts farmer income and assets on supported land by over 35%, permanently enhancing their resilience. Our team comprises over 9,000 full-time staff from diverse backgrounds and professions.
The Role: We are seeking a senior field operations and an exceptional project manager to drive Field Operations strategy and execution in Central Uganda. You will lead the adoption of trees in the region, market access activities for cash crops (primarily coffee, macadamia, and trees), input sales, and extension teams to ensure strong farmer impact and operational excellence.
Job Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in development studies/community development/agriculture/social work, or related fields. - 4+ years of experience in project management, leadership, and people management. - Proficiency in project management (execution), stakeholder management, and collaboration. - Ability to make data-driven decisions, including performance tracking, course correcting, and strategy setting. - Ability to drive commercial results (sales).
