We want our teams to have the freedom to make long-term, high-impact decisions, and the well-being of our teammates and the people around us is a top priority.

About the team

In addition to your squad, you’ll be joining our dynamic Experience team. We're a small but diverse group of Product Designers, Brand Designers, Content Designers, and UX Researchers. Our team is united by a passion for creating impactful designs. With backgrounds at companies like Miro, IDEO, Google, Squarespace, Metalab, and more, we bring together a unique blend of skills and perspectives to make science understandable, personalized, and actionable for millions. We take pride in crafting exceptional experiences. Period.

We believe in balancing user needs with business goals to achieve our long-term mission.

We also value playfulness, exploration, and collective learning. After all, who says work can’t be fun? :-)

About the role

As a Senior Product Designer at ZOE, you’ll be leading designs for your one of our most important product squads, the Insights & Advice squad — on a mission to help our members get science backed and easy to follow advise on how to improve their diet and lifestyle in order to improve their health and achieve their goals. You’ll be part of the squads product trio (PM, Designer, Engineering Lead) and you’ll work in a small cross-functional team, with engineers, data scientists and nutrition scientists.

As a Senior Product designer, you’ll work across all the stages of the product lifecycle: from discovery, to ideation, to solution design, to (in)validation and high-fidelity execution and implementation. You’ll create delightful user experiences, make complex science easy to understand, leverage behaviour change methodologies to make healthy habits stick, and help build a category-defining brand. Our unique challenge: turn our science into user journeys, programs and recommendations that lead to life-changing experiences.

You will...

Collaborate with cross-functional team members (Product, Engineering, Nutrition, Data Science) to shape and deliver experiences customers love. Take ownership of designing product experiences end-to-end: from discovery to implementation. (In)validate your work through user research. Bring your squad's vision and strategy to life (in collaboration with the Product Manager of your squad), aligning with business objectives and user needs, and creating excitement within your team and the broader organization. Lead design critiques and present design solutions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to improve and refine the product. Work with and improve our design system. Contribute to the evolution of the team’s ways of working and the overall culture.

This role will be a great fit if…

You are passionate about health, wellness, and nutrition. You have a portfolio showcasing impactful and beautiful work. You are a great collaborator, and it’s fun to work with you. You have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. You are open to constructive feedback from stakeholders at all levels, able to iterate quickly and pivot when necessary. You are a person of craft, passionate about great design with solid skills in both UX and visual design. You have a human-centered mindset. You are curious and empathetic and you excel at translating user insights into impactful design solutions. You measure success by its impact, not what’s in your design file You’re data-informed and make design decisions that are backed by evidence
