Joining our multidisciplinary science team at natcap, you will be delivering the most rigorous science to the hands of those with the greatest opportunity for impact. natcap is on a mission to accelerate the nature-positive transition by integrating nature intelligence into business decision-making. We support the world's leading companies to prioritise, measure and act on nature impacts, dependencies, risks and opportunities.

As a senior scientist, you will lead the development of models and metrics for our natural intelligence platform, and bring the most rigorous science to the hands of those with the biggest influence on nature. You will work closely with software engineers, product developers and other scientists in cross-functional teams to deliver useful and scalable insights to customers, helping them understand their interaction with nature and ultimately take action.

Job requirements include a strong academic track record in a relevant field with a PhD or Masters, 3+ years of experience in applied modelling, data science or spatial analysis in a closely related field, fluency in Python, including geospatial packages, and excellent communication skills. You should be able to work independently and lead on the design and implementation of projects and deliverables, manage multiple, varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritise workload with an eye for detail and a high quality bar.
