The organisation - natcap is on a mission to accelerate the nature-positive transition by integrating nature intelligence into business decision-making. We support the world's leading companies to prioritise, measure and act on nature impacts, dependencies, risks and opportunities.

The role - As a Staff or Principal-level Product Engineer, you'll work within our cross-functional Dashboard team to build a product that our customers love, find extremely valuable, and keep coming back to. You'll work closely with colleagues in Product, Design, Delivery, Science and, of course, Engineering to build a great product that is easy-to-use, performant, secure. You'll work across our product and data platform stack, getting features built end-to-end.

Job requirements - You'll need to quickly build expertise in our domain — the science of ecology & biodiversity, and nature regulation & reporting frameworks — and communicate effectively with colleagues in other teams. Our stack is React + GraphQL in TypeScript on the frontend, and Python for our internal services and data platform. We use Postgres and S3 as primary data stores, and are mostly AWS-based with a bit of GCP. We take security seriously, and are working towards ISO 27001 certification.

Benefits - You'll report to the CTO, and join a small Engineering function that is growing quickly.
