Then, when we win those contracts, you’ll help transform words into reality by working side-by-side with our Talent, Operations, and Product teams to launch new services with the potential to help millions more in the years ahead.

This is a great opportunity for someone who’s excelled in complex commercial leadership roles and is ready to draw on their expertise to tighten and turbocharge a high-impact sales motion.

You’ll be

  • Leading and mentoring the Government Bids team, including holding overall responsibility for both the revenue target and quality of submitted bids

  • Overseeing, and for the largest and most impactful opportunities directly developing, programme design for Government tenders, including operational and financial modelling (with support from our analytics team)

  • Identifying and leading expansion into new market opportunities, including expanding the service into new areas or working with new disadvantaged groups

  • Building and managing relationships with a range of Government bodies and large partners (Primes) to develop compelling partnership solutions

  • Deeply embedding yourself across Beam - understanding strategy, deal pipeline and operational delivery to identify new opportunities

  • Driving continuous improvement in Beam’s bid development and management process

  • An inspirational and hands-on leader

  • A strategic thinker, able to identify how government bids can help exponentially grow Beam’s impact

  • A confident and seasoned networker, quick to build meaningful relationships with stakeholders at all levels across government, service providers and within Beam

  • Experience working cross functionally to identify, secure and launch new bids

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Extremely high standards of yourself and others

  • A strong ability to translate complex operational models into elegant service design

  • Data skills - we’re not expecting you to be a whizz on SQL (that’s a bonus), but we do need you to be highly proficient on GSheets and capable of making data-driven decisions

Nice to haves

  • Government procurement experience

  • A network across government service providers or within government

We’re open to a range of experiences - if you are unsure please apply.
