  • Role Summary:
    • Triaging and managing direct claimant claims within the OIC.
    • Contacting policyholders, witnesses, and Third Party Insurers to assess and agree on liability.
    • Communicating the claims process and managing policyholder expectations.
    • Aligning reserves with the company's reserving philosophy and handling payments accordingly.
  • Role Requirements:
    • Approximately 1 year of relevant experience in motor claims.
    • Experience with liability and quantum disputes.
    • Understanding of the RTA and Article 75 status within Motor Claims.
    • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.

    • Technical & culture interview lasting 60 minutes with the Claims Team.

The Role As a Junior Personal Injury Claims Handler, you will be triaging and managing direct claimant claims within the OIC. You will be contacting policyholders, witnesses, Third Party Insurers to assess and agree liability. You will be informing policyholders of the claim process and managing expectations as and when required. You will be reserving in line with reserving philosophy and checking and raising payments in line with reserves.

Job Requirements We are looking for someone with around 1 year of relevant experience in the motor claims space. You should have experience dealing with liability and quantum disputes and an understanding of the RTA and Article 75 status within Motor Claims. You should have good time management and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise work.

Additional Information To meet our regulatory obligations as an FCA-authorised financial services company, we need to do some background checks on all new hires. That means carrying out a DBS check and making sure you don't have any live criminal proceedings.
