- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines ensuring data quality.
- Engage in feature engineering for sophisticated machine learning models.
- Contribute to the strategy for Big Data solutions and the advancement of the Data Platform Product.
- Create tools and components to assist data users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend and machine learning engineers, to enhance production processes.
- 8+ years of engineering experience, with a focus on data.
- Proficiency in Scala or Python and expertise in Spark.
- Experience with Data Lake/LakeHouse platforms and cloud data stacks.
- Understanding of data warehousing and ETL/ELT processes.
- Desirable: AWS & Databricks knowledge, data modeling, data quality frameworks, and production machine learning systems.

You will be responsible for the scalable data pipelines, data quality, and feature engineering for our machine learning models to deliver more accurate, more personal, and more explainable solutions for women’s health issues.

What you’ll be doing:
- Play a role in shaping strategies for Big Data Solutions and advancing our Data Platform Product.
- Design tools and components for data users.
- Engineer scalable and reliable data pipelines.
- Design and engineer data quality.
- Work as a part of a cross-functional team with backend and machine learning engineers.
- Put attention to detail and keep a watchful eye on production processes.
What we’re looking for:
Must have:
- 8+ years of prior experience in an Engineering role.
- Strong programming skills in Scala or Python.
- Proven experience with Data Platforms (Data Lake/LakeHouse).
- Expert knowledge of Spark.
- A deep understanding of data warehousing and ETL/ELT concepts
- Experience cloud data stacks
Nice to have:
- Experience with AWS & Databricks
- Experience with data modeling
- Experience with data quality frameworks
- Experience with production Machine Learning systems
