  • Provide both 1st and 2nd line IT support to the Birdie team.
  • Efficiently handle IT support requests and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Manage and document the inventory of tech devices and assist with equipment logistics.
  • Conduct regular system maintenance and security incident responses.
  • Play a pivotal role in employee onboarding/offboarding and IT process improvement.
  • Minimum 2 years in IT Support, with experience in a fast-paced tech environment.
  • IT certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) or relevant education are advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, autonomous, and able to prioritize tasks.
  • A keen interest in emerging technologies and continuous learning.

The role: We’re looking to extend our IT team to help provide internal support to our growing employee base whilst also improving the efficiency and security of our processes. You will provide 1st and 2nd line IT support for all employees at Birdie, respond to IT support requests in a timely manner, troubleshoot hardware and software problems, logging issues and documenting fixes, manage our inventory of devices including laptops and smartphones, assist with the setup/decommissioning of equipment, as well as the logistics around sending the equipment, perform regular system checks and updates, including patching applications, maintain good relationships with our partners and suppliers, help to manage the onboarding and offboarding of employees, have the ability to lead projects and help improve processes within the IT team, respond and react to security incidents, working alongside our security partners.

Job requirements: At least 2 years of experience in an IT Support role, previously worked with a similar tech stack in a start/scale up fast paced environment, CompTIA/Microsoft/Cisco qualifications or relevant degrees/apprenticeships are a plus, you have great team spirit with a problem-solving attitude, excellent communication skills in person and remotely, and the ability to adapt communication depending on the audience, you are autonomous and can manage competing priorities, experience with inventory management is a plus, a passion for emerging technologies and a strong desire to learn, ability to maintain confidentiality of company information.

Applications details: This role is hybrid with the successful candidate working from our London office at least twice per week. Birdie cannot currently support any visa applications, we do require permanent right to work in the role’s location.
