Role Summary:

  • Collaborate with the Wholesale Manager to engage existing wholesale partners.
  • Identify and onboard new wholesale partners, and deliver product training.
  • Develop strong relationships with Wholesale head offices and regional leaders.
  • Support branches with meetings, technical training, and Point of Sale materials.
  • Lead and support trade events.
  • Drive sales through targeting regional contractors for EV charging installations.

Role Requirements:

  • Proven sales and account management experience.
  • Knowledge of the wholesale market is advantageous.
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Experience in managing B2B and B2B2B relationships.

As the leading provider of electric vehicle charging solutions across the UK, we're searching for a seriously talented Business Development Manager - Wholesale to join our incredible Sales team.

The role entails working alongside the Wholesale Manager to partner with our Wholesale partners. You will also look to identify potential wholesalers, who we can partner with, supporting their onboarding and training of our products, to help them to refer Pod Point to their customers. You will build and develop relationships with Wholesale head office and regional business leaders, build relationships with Wholesale Branches, target new wholesale partners branches to expand Pod Point’s presence in the market, support Branches with staff meetings and technical training and the establishment of Point of Sale materials, support and lead trade events, target regional contractors installing EV charging to drive volume through our wholesale partners.

Job requirements include prior sales and account management experience. Any knowledge of the wholesale market would be seen as beneficial. The core skills required are experience working with or for Wholesalers, a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, and experience account managing B2B relationships and B2B2B customer engagements.
