What will you be doing?
The role will involve some regular and some more flexible time commitments, providing ad-hoc and project-based support to RF and presenting to the Board as relevant. This is a volunteer role; candidates must have a right to work / be based in the UK. The role will:
Support the team to raise the profile of RF through publishing or reporting engaging RF stories/articles/features Assist with securing high profile speakers for events Support the team to develop RF’s tone of voice, ensuring consistency across printed and digital materials Create brand guidelines and provide guidance to the team on their implementation Work with the Digital & Engagement Charity Advisor to develop a communications strategy Identify appropriate industry awards and ensure RF’s involvement where possible
What are we looking for?
You will have a wealth of experience in the fields of public relations and communications, with a wide range of contacts in print press/broadsheets from journalists to editorial. Experience of small, start-up organisations will be a plus.
