Role Summary

  • Join the risk team and provide guidance, advice, and support on risk management across the organization.
  • Develop and deliver the corporate risk management framework, insurance programme, and business continuity arrangements.
  • Work closely with senior members to fulfill the board's statutory responsibilities to manage key risks.
  • Coordinate the organization's insurance and business continuity programs.

Role Requirements

  • Candidates must hold relevant qualifications and have solid experience in enterprise risk management.
  • An understanding of non-financial risk and control frameworks is necessary.
  • Experience in implementing risk management practices, conducting risk assessments, managing insurance programmes, and supporting business continuity planning is preferred.
  • Strong report writing skills and the ability to think creatively to improve processes and procedures are essential.

The Role: As an Enterprise Risk Manager at Wellcome, you will be part of our Risk Team, which provides professional guidance, advice, and support on risk management to everyone in the organisation. This role involves developing and delivering the corporate risk management framework, insurance programme, and business continuity arrangements. You will work closely with senior colleagues to ensure the board fulfills its statutory responsibilities to identify, assess, manage, and mitigate the organisation's key risks. Additionally, you will coordinate the organisation's insurance and business continuity programmes.

Job Requirements: Candidates should have appropriate qualifications and strong experience in enterprise risk management, with a good understanding of non-financial risk and control frameworks. Experience in implementing risk management practices, conducting business as usual risk assessments, and managing insurance programmes and supporting business continuity planning is desirable. Strong report writing skills and the ability to think creatively to improve process and procedural efficiency are essential.
