The role: As a Programme Manager in our Strategy Department, you will work across Wellcome’s Infectious Disease, Climate and Health, and Mental Health Solutions Programmes. While primarily assigned to a specific programme, you will have the opportunity to collaborate across programmes based on strategic needs. Your main responsibilities will include supporting programme leads in strategy development, driving organisational integration, and fostering an environment for successful delivery and continuous improvement. You will also manage programme-level milestones, budget, and resources, ensuring effective programme management.
Job requirements: We are seeking candidates with extensive programme management experience, capable of managing complex programmes and coordinating multiple stakeholders. You should have a proven ability to engage with strategic planning and implementation, alongside strong problem-solving skills. Experience in a matrix organisation and the ability to influence both directly and indirectly is crucial.
