👋 About us
We’re a market-leading tech company that provides data on the fastest growing companies in the UK. We’re at a pretty exciting stage right now—we’ve built a profitable, high-growth business, with 120+ employees and an enviable client list. But we’re not done yet. We’re on a mission to become a global data company that helps every organisation discover and work better with ambitious, high-growth companies.
🥖 The Role
Our Research and Consultancy team uses data to provide bespoke projects for our clients, helping them to understand the most exciting businesses in the UK, and the ecosystem around them. As our Research & Consultancy Designer, you’ll lead the design function of the department. You will help to deliver these projects by creating effective data visualisations, eye-catching front covers, content for social media, website landing pages, and more. Publications will be widely distributed and cover the most cutting-edge tech topics.
Day-to day, your responsibilities will include:
🎨 Design and layout in bespoke research reports: you’ll be responsible for producing stunning reports that show off our research. This could be in the Beauhurst brand or in a client’s brand, meaning quite a bit of variety.
📊 Visualising our data: you’ll need to ensure our data is clear and accessible in any charts and graphics you design. You won’t be expected to do any heavy data analysis; this will be done by other members of the team!
🌻 Line management of our graduate designer: you’ll bring enthusiasm to supporting another designer and coordinating work between you both.
👯 Collaborating with the rest of the team: you’ll work closely with analysts and project managers to create reports that make our clients happy.
🔍 Keeping an eye on project performance: you will use marketing/product metrics to check how well our content is performing and keep the team updated.
🗺️ Exploring new concepts: whether it’s trialling new software or exploring new types of content, we’re always looking to broaden what we do.
🫵About you

- Highly confident with Adobe Creative Suite, in particular InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Keen on typography, typesetting and layout principles
- Detail-oriented
- Highly organised, able to prioritise and multitask
