What will you be doing?
We deliver approaches to help lifelong learners aged 18+ achieve success at all stages of their career journeys through experiential learning opportunities, regardless of any career shifts. We also host events and conduct research to promote experiential learning engagements amongst our stakeholders such as universities, colleges, employer organisations, and learners. We are urgently looking for an experienced social media marketer to work with us as we grow our stakeholder and customer networks, market our events and promote our approaches to help lifelong learners. Your contribution will go a long way to helping us succeed with our mission to assist thousands of people achieve their full potential at all stages of their lives. We would like the volunteer to:
Help us develop and execute a social media campaign around an in-person conference taking place in London for a variety of experiential learning stakeholders Help us develop and execute a social media campaign to promote offerings and approaches that support lifelong learners at different career stages Provide guidance / strategy on how we can target our different stakeholder groups in different ways via social media Provide guidance/strategy on how we can manage our social media on an ongoing basis e.g. using a centralised tool, creating a content calendar Produce fresh and engaging content for our social media channels for different stakeholder groups that helps us grow our followers and our networks Prepare graphics for sharing across channels Engage with our followers and encourage interaction Manage and maintain social media channels on a regular basis

You will be working with our strategic director who will provide an overview of our existing social media activities and our specific marketing aims for our different audiences.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a volunteer who has experience:
Writing and editing marketing content for social media platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn Building strategies to increase social media following and engagement including but not limited to LinkedIn Developing a coherent brand voice for social media, from content creation to community interactions Using and setting up social media tools Utilising social media to generate leads and sales for events, products and services on LinkedIn and other social media platforms
The volunteer should also have/be:
Accuracy and attention to detail Strong communication skills (written, verbal and visual) Ability to quickly understand the needs of our team / organisation / users Can ask key questions to enable us to clarify requirements Understands the resource constraints of a small not-for-profit and is able to work with these Open to feedback Collaborative Willing and able to work within virtual teams and contribute to team goals
